Hot Dawg

So yesterday, Griffith Park, which is right where I live, burned for about 12 hours starting at 1PM. At dusk as the sun was setting, the flames started getting bigger and bigger. We were forced to evacuate our house so we went over to Otto and Taylor and Gavin's place, got some beers, and sat on the roof watching LA burned down. It was pretty intense right before we left because it was night, we lost power, there were a bunch of helicopters flying over head as the noises of sirens and honking cars filled the air. Seeing the flames so close against the backdrop of palm trees seriously made me feel like I was in "Apocolypse Now."

Today I coughed out a black ball of phlegm.

Tomorrow I'm flying home.
